SR. ALOYSIUS McVEIGH - was a Mercy Sister living in Derry, had been writing icons for many years, having studied under Guillem Ramos-Poquí and Eva Vlavianos. She had written many new icons of Irish saints, incorporating Celtic design in the borders.
