Eva Vlavianos

Eva Vlavianos was born in Athens and studied at the Technological Institute of Athens (Icon Restoration and History of Art).  Having completed her studies, she went to Switzerland where she held her first exhibition in 1972.  Since that time, she has held exhibitions in many parts of Europe. 
Giving numerous Expositions, Conferences and Workshops all over Europe, she now lives in Paris where she has directed a school of iconography specialising in Byzantine art.

Solrunn Nes studied icon painting in Finland with Fr. Robert de Caluwé (1983), and in Athens, at the Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Professor Konstantin Xinopoulos (1985).

Solrunn has exhibited widely since 1985, including ICON 2000 Exhibition in Galway Cathedral.  She has also exhibited in St. Nicholas’ Church, Galway and De Valera Library, Ennis, Co. Clare, as well as giving a seminar on The Spirituality of Icons in Gort Mhuire, Carmelite Retreat Centre in Dublin in 1995.

Dr. Guillem Ramos-Poquí was born in Barcelona 1944 and has lived in London since 1968. He studied Fine Art in Barcelona Fine Art School, post-graduate in Paris Beaux Arts, Pratt Centre New York, Slade University College London, Royal College of Art London. PhD in Fine Art Painting at Barcelona University (1995). He studied sacred art first, in 1971-74, with Ola Okuniewska and in 1978, icon painting with Orthodox icon painter Dr. Isaac Fanous.
